About The Role

The candidate will work as the FIAR (Financial Improvement and Accounting Readiness) Program Manager and will assist DLA (Defense Logistics Agency) by providing subject matter expertise in stewardship, business process improvement, and audit sustainment initiatives.

Ideal Candidate:

• PMP and CPA certifications
• Experience planning, designing, implementing, and supporting large DoD financial programs, including federal financial audit experience (A123, ERM)
• Leadership experience in teams responsible for audit readiness and sustainment strategies within DoD
• Proven ability to develop program plans and resolve issues to reach goals
• Experience managing and communicating changes in tasks, goals, or performance
• Primary liaison experience with project/program sponsors, customers, and stakeholders
• Familiarity with DoD and DLA financial policies and procedures
• Desired Certifications: CIA, CISA, CDFM, Six Sigma green/black belt, or CGFM

Education:

Bachelor’s degree in accounting or business management or relevant experience

Experience:

Minimum of four years in business consulting, process improvement, financial management, or related fields
