Job summary

Apogee Engineering, LLC seeks a Financial Manager to support the NC3 Sustainment Division at Peterson Space Force Base, CO. You will manage budgets, financial documents, and EVM analyses, ensuring FIAR compliance and audit readiness.

This is a full-time, on-site role requiring US citizenship and an active Secret clearance, BA/BS degree (MA/MS preferred), and 3–7 years of AF DoD financial management experience; travel about 10%.

Qualifications

• Citizenship: Must be a US citizen.
• Clearance: Active Secret Clearance.
• Education: BA/BS degree (MA/MS preferred).
• 3–7 years of AF DoD financial management experience.
• DoD Financial Management and Budget Execution knowledge.
• Program Budget Development and Forecasting experience.
• Variance Analysis and Financial Reporting expertise.
• EVM knowledge and FIAR experience.
• POM development and procurement documentation familiarity.

Responsibilities

• Prepare program budgets, reports, and financial documentation; analyze funding and budgeting requirements and recommend solutions.
• Perform budget forecasting, variance analysis, financial execution reporting, schedule analysis, and EVM analysis.
• Identify accounting discrepancies and assist with corrective actions.
• Use automated management information systems for analytics, advisory, and reporting.
• Support FIAR activities and internal controls through data analysis.
• Prepare budgets and documents for BERs/IBRs/MDRs/PMRs and ASPs.
• Draft P-DOCs, R-DOCs, and POM documentation for leadership.
