AMEWAS, Inc. is seeking a highly capable Management Analyst (Finance Team) to support Battlespace Modeling & Simulation. The role focuses on data-driven budgeting, reporting, and decision support for DoD programs.

The successful candidate will work on-site at multiple locations, including California, MD, and Pax River, and interact with senior leadership. The position requires DoD Secret Clearance, 3+ years of financial analysis experience, and strong skills in Excel, Power BI, and data

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical, scientific, or business discipline
• Associate degree with 4 years of additional work experience OR HS Diploma with 6 years additional work experience
• 3 years of experience in financial analysis, data management, and reporting
• Proficiency in Excel functions and advanced data manipulation
• Experience leveraging AI tools to write, debug, and optimize complex Excel formulas
• Proficiency with Power BI, Qlik or Advana (dashboard maintenance)
• Experience navigating Navy ERP, SDW, IBST data environments
• Experience with financial auditing, de-obligation, and Spend Plan tracking
• Ability to design standardized data ingestion mechanisms and digital submission workflows
• Ability to build long-range financial forecasting models

Responsibilities

• Executes Power BI data refreshes and builds custom views for stakeholders
• Synchronizes transaction records across Navy ERP and BMS models for near real-time tracking
• Aggregates monthly contractor expenditure data across active task orders
• Creates briefing decks for Sponsor MSRs and coordinates obligations with TPOCs
• Coordinates quarterly personnel rate adjustments and validates resource allocations
• Audits funding lines monthly and identifies dormant funds for de-obligations
• Develops standardized reporting templates and automated burn-rate analytics
• Provides rapid financial analysis and decision support to leadership
