Job summary

JANUS Research Group is seeking a Financial Analyst to conduct accounting and budget analysis for the CTC and CSFE programs at Naval Base Ventura County, Port Hueneme, CA. The role involves forecasting, planning, and financial control oversight to support CSFE and related contracts.

The successful candidate will manage reimbursable funds, review invoices, and provide briefings to CSFE Comptroller. This is an on-site, exempt full‑time role with travel up to 10% and a comprehensive benefits

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with at least 30 credited hours in related financial management.
• Five (5) years of financial management experience (cost, accounting, budgeting, planning, forecasting).
• Efficient with cost analysis, scheduling, budget planning and documentation.
• Familiar with automated cost reporting and scheduling systems.
• At least 5 years of cumulative progressively responsible experience in DoD programs: financial controls, fiscal laws, and program administration.

Responsibilities

• Allocate requirements to CSFE N83 Financial Analyst.
• Perform financial forecasting, and annual business plan.
• Provide fiscal guidance to CSFE Comptroller and CSFE domain on the CTC program.
• Receive, validate, allocate, and manage reimbursable funds from interservice agencies.
• Process transferring and liquidating expense (invoice) from SABRS/ERP.
• Review, authorize, and forward Purchase Requests (PRs).
• Create Validation of Transactions MP/WR/RC/TG in ERP and submit for Review/Approval.
• Review DTS travel vouchers and official reimbursements.
