Job summary

Accura Engineering & Consulting Services, Inc. seeks a Construction Inspector for Minot AFB, ND. The role involves observing construction phases, performing inspections, and preparing RMS reports with safety, progress and subcontractor details.

You will assist in contract modifications and track contractor submittals. The ideal candidate has 5+ years on large DoD/USACE projects, knowledge of RMS 3.0, and OSHA safety standards.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required; construction degree preferred.
• Minimum 5 years on large, complex federal projects (DoD/USACE preferred).
• Experience with RMS 3.0 and three-phase inspection process.
• Familiarity with OSHA EM 385-1-1 safety standards preferred.
• Ability to prepare scopes of work, reviews, and contract modifications.

Responsibilities

• Observe construction phases for schedule, specs, and drawings; flag issues.
• Perform inspections and generate daily RMS site reports with progress and safety notes.
• Assist in contract modification processes and prepare RFP scopes of work.
• Review contractor plans and submittals for approvals and QA.
• Prepare correspondence, RFIs, REAs, and payment estimates for programs.
• Monitor progress and advise project team on potential delays.
