Job summary

Accura Engineering and Consulting Services, Inc. is seeking a Construction Inspector to oversee on-site activities at Minot AFB (Minot, ND). The role emphasizes monitoring schedules, ensuring compliance with plans, and documenting progress in daily RMS reports.

The position requires US citizenship and the ability to pass a federal background check and drug screen. A construction-related degree is preferred, with at least five years of federally funded project experience.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; construction-related degree preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of applicable experience on large federal projects, DoD or USACE preferred.
• Experience using RMS 3.0; familiar with three-phase inspection and OSHA/EM 385-1-1 safety requirements.

Responsibilities

• Observes and investigates construction phases for compliance with schedules, specs and shop drawings.
• Performs inspections and completes daily RMS site reports with comments on progress, safety, and subcontractors.
• Assist in contract modification processes and preparation of scopes of work for RFPs and government estimates.
• Reviews contractor plans and submittals for approval, including schedules and safety programs.
• Prepares correspondence on contractor performance, REAs, RFIs and other technical issues.
• Prepares payment estimates and verifies materials and progress of lump-sum items.
• Monitors progress and advises project team of potential delays.
