Job summary

Abacus Technology Corporation seeks an Enterprise Architect to guide system, infrastructure, and process design for the C3I&N Directorate at Lackland AFB. This is a full-time, on-site role.

Responsibilities include aligning IT strategy with mission goals, developing reference models, and guiding enterprise-wide integration while ensuring security compliance. TS/SCI clearance and DoD experience are required.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of enterprise architecture experience.
• At least 5 years in a DoD environment.
• US citizen with TS/SCI clearance.

Responsibilities

• Analyze, plan, design, and manage the enterprise framework to align IT with the mission, goals, structure, and processes.
• Develop reference models of the enterprise and maintain information in the IT repository.
• Identify gaps between current and target architecture and propose transition plans.
• Define policies and principles to guide technology decisions for the enterprise architecture.
• Educate customers and stakeholders on the value of the enterprise architecture.
• Provide enterprise architecture guidance and coordination to customers and IT project teams.
• Document the enterprise architecture infrastructure, including business units and key processes.
• Ensure integration across the enterprise by participating in test planning, validation, and reviews.
• Evaluate impact of EA products and services on IT investments and operations.
• Coordinate governance and portfolio management to ensure EA compliance.
• Apply information security/cybersecurity policies to all components of the architecture.
