Job summary

RTX in Tucson seeks an electronics technician to modify, rework, and assemble Engineering CCAs and subassemblies, and to build cables and harnesses from schematics. You will perform repairs to returned units and ensure operation per established criteria.

The ideal candidate holds an AA/AS degree with 6+ years of relevant experience, proficiency in soldering and inspection, and experience with cable/harness fabrication. A 9/80 schedule is offered; U.S. government clearance is required.

Qualifications

• AA/AS degree (or 2-year post high school) with minimum 6 years of relevant experience.
• Experience with solder, mechanical, quality standards, processes, and/or documentation.
• Verification and inspection experience with standards, processes, and/or documentation.
• Experience with cable and harness assembly, fabrication, and/or rework.

Responsibilities

• Modify, rework, and populate Engineering CCAs, assemblies, and subassemblies to meet criteria.
• Perform repairs to returned/damaged units to an operational state.
• Build cables and harnesses from schematics.
