KIHOMAC, Inc. in New York seeks a Systems Engineer to perform lifecycle-focused reviews, translate requirements, and support design, integration, and certification for DoD programs.

The role covers electrical engineering, test and evaluation, risk management, and technical planning, requiring 3+ years in the DoD sector and a bachelor’s degree (master’s preferred). Active clearance is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field is required.
• Master’s degree in a related field is preferred.
• 3+ years of experience in a related field is required.
• 3+ years working in the DoD sector.
• Experience with DoD acquisition processes including technical data packages.

Responsibilities

• Conduct systems engineering reviews across all lifecycle phases.
• Translate DoD user requirements into system requirements.
• Review system design baselines for interoperability.
• Support development of specifications and architecture documentation.
• Provide engineering support for FMS efforts and program milestones.
• Engage in risk tracking and technical working groups.
