Job summary
A defense contracting company is seeking an Electrical Engineer to provide expert-level support for Department of Defense programs. This role involves system engineering, compliance, and delivering capabilities to the warfighter. The ideal candidate must have a Bachelor's degree in engineering, active security clearance, and experience in the DoD. Additional preferred qualifications include a Master’s degree and experience in respective disciplines.
Qualifications
Must be a US citizen.
Must hold an active Secret clearance.
At least 3 years of experience in the respective discipline, 3 in the DoD.
Or 7+ years of experience, 5 in the DoD.
Responsibilities
Provide system engineering review and analysis of assigned systems.
Assist in translating DoD user requirements into system requirements.
Develop and refine features for current methods or data.
Review overall system design baseline requirements.
Support life cycle cost evaluations of proposed systems.
Provide test and evaluation support.
Contribute to technical plans and conduct special studies.
