Job summary

A defense contracting company is seeking an Electrical Engineer to provide expert-level support for Department of Defense programs. This role involves system engineering, compliance, and delivering capabilities to the warfighter. The ideal candidate must have a Bachelor's degree in engineering, active security clearance, and experience in the DoD. Additional preferred qualifications include a Master’s degree and experience in respective disciplines.

Qualifications

• Must be a US citizen.
• Must hold an active Secret clearance.
• At least 3 years of experience in the respective discipline, 3 in the DoD.
• Or 7+ years of experience, 5 in the DoD.

Responsibilities

• Provide system engineering review and analysis of assigned systems.
• Assist in translating DoD user requirements into system requirements.
• Develop and refine features for current methods or data.
• Review overall system design baseline requirements.
• Support life cycle cost evaluations of proposed systems.
• Provide test and evaluation support.
• Contribute to technical plans and conduct special studies.
