Job summary

The University of South Florida (USF) Institute of Applied Engineering (IAE) invites applications for the Software Engineer Intern- Fall 2026. This in-person internship supports DoD-funded programs and offers hands-on experience in data science and program management initiatives.

The intern will work under Accenture Federal Services leadership to perform research, analysis, and tool development that enhance operational decision-making and resource allocation.

Qualifications

• U.S. citizen eligible for security clearance
• Active enrollment in an undergraduate degree program for the duration of the internship
• Must not have graduated before internship start date

Responsibilities

• Support DoD-funded programs under Accenture Federal Services leadership
• Contribute to research, analysis, and tool development for decision-making
• Work in-person with limited remote work, 15–29 hours per week depending on semester
• Collaborate with engineering and program teams on real projects
