Job summary

B3H Corporation is seeking a Database System Administrator to provide project management and SME support for the AOC C2WSPTT Training Support Program. Responsibilities include TBMCS/C2WSPTT installation, upgrades, STIGs, and multi-server troubleshooting across ~10 locations.

Qualified candidates have a Bachelor’s Degree and 10+ years of military operational/training experience, plus 2+ years with AOC systems and DBs (Oracle, Sybase). Equal opportunity employer with accessibility options.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree and minimum of ten years military operational and training experience.
Minimum of two years AOC specific experience with exposure to database and system administration.
Minimum of two years IT experience with Sun Fire 210 and Sun Enterprise hardware; TCP/IP, DNS/DHCP networks; Windows servers; Solaris and UNIX environments.

Responsibilities

Provide C2WSPTT database system administration, installation, upgrades and configuration daily.
Assist 505th Communications Squadron with TBMCS patches, STIGs, password resets and admin tasks.
Oversee system performance, monitoring and multi-server troubleshooting daily.
Manage Oracle and Sybase database servers daily.
Back up, recover and maintain C2WSPTT databases and software daily.
Maintain software files for the Master Training Scenario Library on the PTT SIPRNET site daily.
Adhere to government security policies; complete system usage requests via scheduling tool.
Perform on-site system administration for ~10 AOC locations to support training scenarios.
Test MSEL accuracy and usability daily.
Aim to achieve IA certification within six months per DoD 8570.01-M; waiver possible per policy.
