Job summary

RedSky seeks an experienced Data Management Specialist/Business Intelligence Analyst in Tampa, FL to own data governance and deliver actionable insights across the enterprise. You will manage data assets, catalogs, metadata, and ensure trustworthy data flows between SharePoint, Power BI, Purview, and other systems.

The role requires strong governance communication skills, DoD-related data practices, and a Secret clearance.

Qualifications

• Active Secret clearance
• 3+ years implementing data governance in a formal data governance framework across a multi-domain enterprise
• 3+ years of Microsoft Purview data governance experience of sensitivity labels, data classification, and data mapping
• 3+ years of SharePoint contact structuring for findability; cross site search optimization
• 3+ years of building, maintaining, and/or implementing command data catalog concepts or enterprise data inventory
• Proficient or Advanced Power BI; report design, data modeling, DAX, M, visualizations, publishing
• 3+ years of writing SQL queries to extract and validate data from relational databases
• 3+ years of multi-source integration; Power BI to SQL Server, SharePoint, Excel, APIs, Cloud
• 3+ years of managing a portfolio of recurring reports with refresh schedules
• Experience designing executive dashboards for military or DoD leadership
• Ability to communicate governance to non-technical audiences
• CompTIA Security+ certification

Responsibilities

• Own the structure, quality, and governance of data assets across Enterprise.
• Maintain the command data catalog, enforce data standards, manage metadata.
• Ensure information flows correctly between systems (SharePoint, Power BI, Purview, Maven, Vantage).
• Specialize in ensuring data is governed, cataloged, and trustworthy while analyzing data into insight.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to deliver actionable, executive-level dashboards.
