Job summary

Expression seeks an experienced Data Engineer to design, develop, and deploy scalable AI-enabled data solutions for the DoD CDAO ADA IR program. The role integrates data engineering, ML, and software engineering to deliver secure, production-ready data pipelines and services.

You will collaborate with product managers, platform engineers, and mission stakeholders to transform diverse data into actionable insights while ensuring reproducibility, testing, and secure deployment in containerized

Qualifications

• Education/experience combinations required for the role as listed in the posting.
• Experience with visualization and data storytelling using enterprise tools is required.
• Proficiency in Python, SQL and distributed data frameworks (Spark, Databricks, PySpark).
• Experience building ML models from training to production using common libraries.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain data ingestion, transformation, and feature engineering services.
• Build scalable data pipelines for structured and unstructured mission data.
• Develop ML models and production ML capabilities for decision-support.
• Implement data services in secure, containerized environments with CI/CD.
