Job summary

Innovim-Defense-Services, LLC is seeking a Cybersecurity Operations Controller to support DoD mission-critical IT security operations. The role ensures health, stability, and continuous operation of critical security infrastructure across enterprise systems, with a focus on proactive monitoring and coordination.

The position requires 6+ years in IT operations/leadership, DoD Secret clearance, and strong ITIL knowledge.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of general (full-time) work experience.
• 4+ years in IT operations management, NCC, or EOC roles.
• 6+ months in a management or leadership role.
• Deep understanding of ITIL and related processes (incident, problem, change, service release).
• Active DoD Secret security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate operational security activities, monitoring, and change management.
• Monitor enterprise operations for system health, availability, and performance.
• Coordinate real-time responses to outages, incidents, and service degradations; ensure timely escalation and resolution.
• Lead incident and problem management with root cause analysis and remediation.
• Maintain operation documentation and daily activity logs, and cybersecurity registers.
• Provide 24/7 mission support during shift-based operations, including nights and weekends as needed.
• Interface with system admins, network engineers, cybersecurity personnel, and government stakeholders.
• Manage change control processes to minimize risk to services.
• Communicate status and operational health to senior leadership.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives within cybersecurity operations.
