Job summary

Science Applications International Corp. is seeking a qualified Information System Security Engineer to support cybersecurity for LCAC/LCU programs.

The role focuses on securing and maintaining the PIT flight control system and ensuring compliance with DoD security standards on-site in Panama City Beach, FL. Applicants should have 3–5 years of DoD/Navy cybersecurity experience, strong knowledge of NIST SP 800-53 and SP 800-34, and hands-on use of eMASS, VRAM, and DISA STIGs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology and 3-5 years of dedicated cybersecurity engineering experience supporting a DoD or Navy Program Office.
• Strong working knowledge of NIST SP 800-53 (Rev 5 transition) and NIST SP 800-34 (Contingency Planning).
• Experience with eMASS, VRAM, and DISA STIGs (including Windows and Trellix ENS)
• Experience with Windows 7/10 legacy baselines, Windows 11 and outdated Linux kernels.

Responsibilities

• Resolve outstanding Authorization to Use with Conditions (ATU/C) stipulations.
• Authoring and testing Information System Contingency Plans (ISCPs).
• Managing End-of-Life (EOL) obsolescence mitigation paths within a physically isolated, air-gapped system environment.
• Collaborate with In-Service Engineering Agent (ISEA) teams to align STIGs with flight control safety and real-time availability.
• Provide inputs to eMASS package updates, VRAM scan tracking, and Risk Assessment updates.
