Job summary

RQ Construction, LLC is seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager to oversee all phases of commercial projects from planning through completion on a military base in Norfolk, VA and nearby areas. You will coordinate field operations, design interfaces, schedules, safety, and quality to meet program goals.

Candidates should have proven PM experience in commercial construction, familiarity with design-build processes, and strong communication with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline.
• Minimum of 2 years of commercial construction project management experience.
• At least 6 years progressing experience as Project Engineer/Asst PM or similar.
• Experience in design-build projects preferred.
• Proficient with MS Office and internet-based systems.
• Familiarity with Primavera P3/P6, Viewpoint, BIM or Revit preferred.
• CPR, First Aid, and OSHA 30 certifications required.
• STS certification preferred.
• LEED GA or AP/AP+ credentials are a plus.
