Job summary

General Dynamics Information Technology, Inc. seeks an experienced Infrastructure Engineer to design, implement, secure, and maintain enterprise IT infrastructure for DoD missions across cloud and on-prem environments.

The role emphasizes Azure, M365, virtualization, networking, and cybersecurity, with a focus on accreditation, high availability, and automation. You will collaborate with cybersecurity teams, support government customers, and contribute to vulnerability assessments and security

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
Experience designing, implementing, and securing enterprise IT infrastructure including Azure, M365, and virtualization.
Strong networking, cybersecurity, automation, and infrastructure management skills, with DoD environment exposure preferred.

Responsibilities

Design, implement, document, and maintain enterprise infrastructure solutions.
Manage highly available and secure enterprise IT systems supporting mission-critical operations.
Install, configure, and maintain virtualization platforms, operating systems, applications, and supporting infrastructure.
Troubleshoot complex issues across compute, networking, storage, and enterprise applications.
Collaborate with cybersecurity teams to obtain and maintain system accreditation packages.
Participate in cybersecurity activities including vulnerability assessments and security audits.
Engage in technical meetings with government customers and contractor teams.
