Job summary

Goldbelt Apex, LLC is seeking a Clinical Research Coordinator to support the Defense Health Agency’s Clinical Investigation Program at Naval Medical Center Portsmouth. The CRC will coordinate complex research activities, ensure protocol compliance, and collaborate with investigators, healthcare professionals, and regulatory bodies.

Responsibilities include coordinating IRB/IACUC-approved studies, assisting with recruitment, and managing documentation.

Qualifications

• Advanced knowledge of clinical or biomedical research principles and protocols.
• Ability to independently evaluate complex scientific information.
• Knowledge of IRB/IACUC oversight and regulatory procedures.
• Identify research quality concerns and recommend corrective actions.
• Coordinate multiple concurrent studies and manage priorities.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate IRB/IACUC-approved clinical research protocols and quality improvement projects.
• Assist with participant recruitment, scheduling, and data collection.
• Support informed consent processes and regulatory submissions.
• Maintain regulatory binders and study progress documentation.
• Collaborate with PIs, researchers, and oversight bodies to ensure compliance.
