Job summary

Goldbelt Apex LLC, part of the Healthcare Technology Transformation Group, seeks a Clinical Research Coordinator to support the DHA Clinical Investigation Program at Naval Medical Center Portsmouth. The CRC will coordinate complex research activities, ensuring protocol compliance and collaboration with PIs, researchers, and oversight bodies.

Requires advanced knowledge in biomedical sciences, IRB/IACUC oversight, and ability to manage scheduling, data collection, and regulatory documentation

Qualifications

• Advanced knowledge of clinical or biomedical research principles and protocols.
• Ability to independently evaluate complex scientific information and resolve nonroutine issues.
• Familiarity with IRB/IACUC oversight and applicable regulations.
• Ability to identify protocol compliance risks and propose corrective actions.
• Strong data evaluation and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate assigned clinical and biomedical research activities within approved protocols.
• Assess study requirements, eligibility, and operational plans for protocol execution.
• Coordinate IRB/IACUC-approved procedures and manage participant scheduling and data collection.
• Support informed consent processes and ensure documentation compliance.
• Coordinate phlebotomy, ECGs, infusions, vital signs, and specimen handling as required.
• Identify operational barriers and develop recommendations for resolution.
• Communicate status and issues to PI and Clinical Program Manager.
