Job summary

Goldbelt Apex is seeking a Clinical Research Coordinator to support the Defense Health Agency program at Naval Medical Center Portsmouth. This role requires advanced knowledge in biological and health sciences and independent coordination of IRB/IACUC-approved protocols, with collaboration across government investigators and clinical teams.

The CRC will manage participant recruitment, scheduling, phlebotomy, and protocol execution while ensuring regulatory compliance and data integrity in line

Qualifications

• Advanced knowledge of clinical or biomedical research principles.
• Ability to independently evaluate complex scientific information and exercise professional judgment.
• Knowledge of IRB/IACUC oversight, regulatory procedures and documentation.
• Ability to coordinate multiple concurrent studies and manage research timelines.
• Strong written and oral communication skills for diverse stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate assigned clinical and biomedical research activities within approved protocols.
• Evaluate study requirements and determine coordination strategies within approved protocols.
• Independently identify scientific, regulatory, or operational issues affecting study quality or timelines.
• Analyze research data and documentation to identify discrepancies and improvements.
• Coordinate IRB/IACUC submissions, amendments, and adverse event reporting as needed.
• Maintain accurate research records and progress reports for investigators.
