Job summary

RTX is seeking a Web/Full Stack Software Engineer II for the Sensors, Space and Air division in Fullerton, CA. The role requires a security clearance and involves designing, coding, testing, and deploying data-driven software across back-end and front-end domains within an Agile team.

The position emphasizes end-to-end development, DevSecOps, and collaboration with leadership and customers to meet technical, cost and schedule baselines, onsite at the Fullerton campus.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in STEM required, preferably CS, SWE, CE, or Data Science.
• Web full stack OO design and development experience with Java, JS/TS.
• Experience with modern web UI frameworks and scalable event-driven apps.
• Knowledge of REST/GraphQL, databases, and distributed systems.

Responsibilities

• Work on complex technical problems and collaborate to provide innovative solutions.
• Requires investigation and troubleshooting skills to assess issues and develop resolutions.
• Work at all phases of the SW development lifecycle, including SW/HW integration.
• Assist in deriving system and software requirements, architectural modeling, and technical analysis.
• Design, code, unit test, integrate, maintain and document software applications as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
• Participate in software peer reviews, code inspections, and technical decision-making with leadership and customers.
• Support program execution to ensure work products meet technical, cost, schedule, and quality baselines.
