Job summary

Raytheon Software Engineering in Fullerton, California, is seeking a Software Engineer II to join the Air C2 and Sensors software team. You will contribute to command-and-control mission critical applications, working in a DevSecOps environment and collaborating with a cross-functional product team.

The role requires a STEM degree with at least 2 years of related experience, proficiency in Java and OOP, and the ability to obtain/maintain a DoD Secret clearance.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 2 years of prior relevant experience.
• Experience with Object Oriented Design and Development, and Java application development.
• Experience with databases as part of the software solution.

Responsibilities

• Develop Command and Control mission critical applications and leverage DevSecOps processes.
• Contribute as a key member of a high performing Software Product Team.
• Participate in software design, implementation, testing and maintenance.
• Collaborate in a cross-functional / Agile environment.
• Travel up to 25%.
