Job summary

Leidos is seeking a Warehouse Material Handler at the Naval Array Technical Support Center (NATSC) in Newport, Rhode Island. This hands-on role supports loading/unloading, receiving, and inventory control, with training provided to motivated individuals who demonstrate reliability and attention to detail. No advanced education required; a high school diploma or GED is sufficient.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• U.S. citizenship with ability to obtain DoD Secret clearance (Interim Secret to start).
• Willingness to learn and follow procedures.
• Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail.
• Training provided; warehouse experience preferred but not required.
• Basic computer skills and familiarity with office equipment.
• Able to lift up to 30 pounds and hold a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload vehicles and move materials throughout the facility.
• Receive, inspect, issue, and store materials per procedures.
• Maintain accurate inventory using electronic and paper systems.
• Perform daily inventory audits and cycle counts.
• Operate hand trucks, pallet jacks, and material handling equipment.
• Package and prepare materials for shipment.
• Keep warehouse organized, clean, and safe.
• Follow safety, quality, and security procedures.
