Job summary

Allied Universal is hiring a Cleared Security Officer in Roy, Utah. This unarmed position requires a DoD clearance, DoD-site experience, and a high school diploma or equivalent.

The role includes patrols, guest management, and rapid response to alarms and emergencies, with ongoing training and growth opportunities. Excellent customer service and communication skills are essential, along with basic computer literacy to operate client-specific wireless systems.

Qualifications

• Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience.
• Must possess a Department of Defense (DoD) position appropriate level security clearance (national security eligibility determinations).
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• Minimum of three (3) years of security experience on a DoD-cleared site or prior military experience.
• Effective written and oral communication and interpersonal skills.
• Exceptional customer service skills.
• Intermediate computer skills to operate wireless technology at client sites.

Responsibilities

• Provide high quality security services, safeguarding personnel, property, and information with professionalism.
• Conduct patrols within and around the facility on foot, bicycle, or vehicle.
• Greet guests and escorts visitors and contractors to secure entry and exit points.
• Follow site-specific performance manuals and post orders; report safety concerns or incidents to client and security personnel.
• Respond to and assess security alarms or emergencies.
• Act as a first responder in emergency situations.
