Job summary

Allied Universal is hiring a Security Officer – Cleared in Salt Lake City. The role requires DoD clearance eligibility, a high school diploma or 5 years of verifiable security experience, and strong communication skills.

You will protect personnel, property and sensitive information while performing patrols and responding to emergencies. Salary is $20.05 per hour with benefits including health insurance and 401k.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required or 5 years verifiable security experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills essential.
• Effective customer service and professional demeanor required.
• Intermediate computer skills to operate client-site systems.

Responsibilities

• Provide high quality security services, safeguarding people and property.
• Conduct patrols on foot, bicycle, or vehicle to protect assets and information.
• Greet guests and escort visitors to secured areas.
• Follow site manuals and report safety concerns to client and security team.
• Respond to alarms and act as first responder in emergencies.
