World Wide Technology is seeking a Sr. Security Engineer for an on-site role at Lackland AFB, San Antonio, TX. The position requires active Top Secret/SCI clearance and DoD-focused cybersecurity expertise.

Qualifications

• Active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 4+ years of experience in cybersecurity platforms, DoD/IC environments, or enterprise IT.
• Experience with NDR/IDS (Zeek, Suricata) and Elastic Stack for telemetry.
• Cloud telemetry in AWS (CloudTrail, VPC Flow Logs) and IAM identity access.
• Docker, Podman, or Kubernetes for deployments; Linux admin and EC2.

Responsibilities

• Support deployment and sustainment of DoD cybersecurity platforms.
• Develop automation scripts (Python) for platform ops and security analytics.
• Integrate threat intel and MITRE ATT&CK workflows; perform threat hunting in AWS.
• Assist with security event correlation, kill chain analysis, and platform API integration.
