Job summary

QinetiQ US is seeking an experienced Facilities Custodian at Fort Belvoir, VA to maintain clean, safe, and organized workspaces for a US Government location.

Responsibilities include cleaning offices, kitchens, restrooms, dusting, floor care, and waste management while adhering to safety protocols. A DoD SECRET clearance is required or ability to obtain TS/SCI; strong time management and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• Active DoD SECRET clearance with ability to obtain TS/SCI.
• Experience on site at a USG building providing custodial services.
• Experience using cleaning equipment to maintain offices, conference rooms, restrooms.
• Proven time management and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Clean offices, kitchens, common areas and restrooms.
• Sweep and mop floors, vacuum carpets.
• Prepare spaces for the next day - empty trash, dust, tidy furniture; wash and sanitize toilets, sinks, and showers; restock disposables.
• Wipe mirrors and windows; wash windows.
• Collect trash and recycling; maintain inventory and equipment.
• Handle chemicals safely and report major damages.
