Job summary

RTX is seeking an Electronics/Electromechanical Technician in Tucson, AZ to calibrate, test, diagnose and repair electronic test equipment in a manufacturing/standards lab environment. The role requires U.S. citizenship and the ability to obtain a U.S. secret clearance, with a weekend Fri–Sun shift from 6:00 AM to 6:30 PM.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years in metrology/calibration, knowledge of NIST specs, and experience reading calibration manuals and drawings. HS diploma or GED is required.

Qualifications

• Three years in operation, calibration, maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of electronic/electromechanical test equipment.
• Experience using calibration manuals, drawings, sketches, and specs.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a US secret security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Initial and periodic testing, calibration and certification of electronic test equipment.
• Diagnosis, repair and modification of electronic/electromechanical test equipment.
• Must work designated shifts including overnight as needed.
