Job summary

Abacus Technology Corporation seeks a Network Security Administrator to support boundary protection for AFINC III at Maxwell AFB/Gunter Annex. This full-time, on-site role requires US citizenship and a current Secret clearance.

You will install, monitor, and harden IDS, firewalls, proxies, and related boundary systems, perform analytics, and support DCO/DODIN operations in a DoD environment. Strong communication with stakeholders is essential.

Qualifications

• Must have 5+ years experience in network administration and support.
• Must be Security+ certified.
• Must hold one of the following certifications: Palo Alto Network Security Professional; CCNA; PCNSA.
• Palo Alto Next-Generation Firewall Engineer and/or PCNSE certifications desired.

Responsibilities

• Install, monitor, configure, troubleshoot, upgrade, patch, harden, maintain, and operate IDS, firewalls, load balancers, and proxies to protect AFNet resources per DoD standards.
• Perform complex analytics on boundary protection systems to protect assets from compromise and data loss.
• Perform DCO and DODIN operations.
