Job summary

Chenega MIOS in Huntsville, AL is seeking an Automation Engineer/Developer responsible for implementing automation for certificate lifecycle management and related tasks, leveraging low-code platforms and integrating with eMASS, Jira and SharePoint.

The ideal candidate has a bachelor's in a science/engineering field, 7+ years in automation development, 5+ years scripting (Python/PowerShell/JavaScript), and an active Secret clearance with TS eligibility; background check and drug screening

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in science, technology, engineering, mathematics, IT, or related fields.
7+ years of experience in automation development or systems integration.
5+ years of experience with tools for testing and deployment.
5+ years of experience with scripting or programming (e.g., Python, PowerShell, JavaScript).
Active Secret clearance with ability to obtain TS with SCI eligibility.
Background and drug screening successfully passed.

Responsibilities

Implement low-code/no-code automation solutions and workflow tools to streamline manual tasks.
Design automated equipment and machinery to complete manual processes.
Implement automated tests to evaluate integrity of automated systems.
Identify areas where automation could improve production and efficiency.
Provide technical support for automated systems.
