Job summary

Booz Allen is seeking an Automation Engineer to manage system infrastructure and applications, developing and implementing automation solutions and maintaining CI/CD pipelines. You’ll work with cross‑functional teams to deploy and manage infrastructure, while strengthening DevSecOps across naval platforms.

The role requires 6+ years with DoD/government experience, expertise in Ansible/PowerShell, and a Secret clearance. Travel up to 25% may be required as part of mission‑critical deployments.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience supporting DoD or government agencies.
• 3+ years of experience troubleshooting, triaging, or resolving automation issues using Ansible or PowerShell
• Knowledge of Agile development
• Knowledge of automation tools including Ansible, version control systems including Git, operating systems including RHEL and Windows, and virtualization including VMware
• Ability to develop tools and processes to drive DevSecOps maturity by automating builds, regression testing, monitoring, and pushing releases across environments
• Ability to travel CONUS or OCONUS up to 25% of the time
• Secret clearance
• HS diploma or GED
