Job summary

Chenega MIOS SBU is seeking a GMD DevSecOps Engineer at Redstone Arsenal, AL to architect and scale the IDDE DevSecOps environment. You will deploy containerized apps with Kubernetes, design automated CI/CD, and secure pipelines in AWS/Azure. A SECRET+ clearance and DoD-aligned practices are required.

The role emphasizes automation, IaC, and collaboration with cyber engineers to integrate security into development workflows and support mission-critical workloads.

Qualifications

• Master's degree with 12+ years of relevant experience or Bachelor's degree with 20+ years of relevant experience.
• CompTIA Security+ certification (Required for baseline DoD compliance).
• Active security clearance (SECRET or above).
• Successfully pass background and drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Architect and provision the IDDE DevSecOps environment using Terraform to ensure scalable, repeatable deployments.
• Deploy, manage, and scale containerized applications and microservices using Kubernetes.
• Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines (GitLab CI, Jenkins, Azure DevOps).
• Operate within AWS and Azure hybrid cloud environments; manage AD, SCCM, and tooling.
• Embed security and code scanning into CI/CD pipelines to uphold security standards.
• Support deliverables and release objectives with thorough documentation and orchestration.
