RTX is seeking a seasoned Documentum Technical Specialist to design, plan, and implement an enterprise Documentum solution. The role requires deep expertise in Documentum architecture, Content Server, D2, xCP, Webtop, and integration with ERP/CRM systems.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree and 10+ years hands-on Documentum experience required.
  • Deep understanding of ECM principles and best practices.
  • Experience with database systems (Oracle, SQL Server) and application servers (WebLogic, JBoss).
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and collaboration skills.
  • Knowledge of records management and regulatory requirements in ECM.

The following position is to join our RTX Enterprise Services team:

RTX is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Documentum Technical Specialist to help design, plan, and implement an enterprise Documentum solution. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in Documentum architecture and configuration and will play a key role in the delivery of a scalable and efficient enterprise content management (ECM) solution. This position requires strong technical, analytical, and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive successful outcomes.

What You Will Do
  • Lead the solution design and architecture of the enterprise Documentum solution, ensuring alignment with business requirements and industry best practices.
  • Conduct requirements gathering sessions with stakeholders to define document management needs and recommend optimal solutions.
  • Develop technical roadmaps and implementation plans for the Documentum environment.
  • Configure and deploy Documentum components, including Content Server, D2, xCP, Webtop, and other tools in the ecosystem.
  • Integrate Documentum with other enterprise systems (ERP, CRM, etc.) using appropriate APIs and middleware.
  • Ensure scalability, performance optimization, and secure access controls within the ECM solution.
  • Design and develop custom workflows, templates, and applications using Documentum tools and technologies.
  • Implement custom Documentum solutions using Java, DQL, DFS/REST APIs, or other applicable frameworks.
  • Collaborate with developers to create and maintain custom Documentum modules and components.
  • Provide technical expertise for troubleshooting, performance tuning, and issue resolution within the Documentum environment.
  • Develop and maintain system documentation, including process flows, and technical specifications.
  • Monitor system health and perform upgrades, patches, and configuration updates as needed.
Qualifications You Must have
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field with 10+ years of hands‑on experience with Documentum products, including Content Server, D2, xCP, Webtop, or related components.
  • Strong understanding of enterprise content management principles and best practices.
  • Familiarity with database management systems (e.g., Oracle, SQL Server) and application servers (e.g., WebLogic, JBoss).
  • Experience with system integration, including knowledge of APIs, middleware, and enterprise systems with strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail with excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Knowledge of records management, compliance, and regulatory requirements in ECM solutions.

This position is currently designated as remote. Employees who are working in Remote roles will work primarily offsite (from home). The employee may be expected to travel to the Santa Isabel site location as needed.

The salary range for this role is 132,400 USD - 251,600 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.Hired applicants may be eligible for benefits, including but not limited to, medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, long-term disability, 401(k) match, flexible spending accounts, flexible work schedules, employee assistance program, Employee Scholar Program, parental leave, paid time off, and holidays.
