Job summary

RTX is seeking a Senior OpenText Documentum Developer for its Business Systems & Transformation team. The role focuses on designing, developing, and enhancing enterprise ECM solutions using OpenText Documentum.

The ideal candidate brings deep technical expertise with D2, xCP, Webtop, and Java, and will collaborate across IT and business teams. The position is remote in the U.S., with consideration for in-person interview steps as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, engineering, or related field.
• 8+ years hands-on OpenText Documentum development (D2, xCP, Webtop, Composer, Administrator).
• Strong proficiency in Documentum Foundation Classes (DFC), REST, Java, and integration frameworks.
• Experience designing workflows, lifecycles, metadata models, and document security policies.
• Understanding of enterprise content management, information architecture, and governance.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, development, customization, and deployment of Documentum apps (D2, xCP, Webtop).
• Develop and maintain Documentum objects: workflows, lifecycles, TBOs/SBOs, components.
• Integrate Documentum with enterprise platforms, APIs, and external systems.
• Optimize performance, scalability, and security of Documentum repositories.
• Support upgrade planning, migrations, and modernization of legacy apps.
• Troubleshoot complex issues in Documentum servers and apps.
• Mentor junior developers and contribute to ECM governance and standards.
