Job Title: Documentation Writer

Key Responsibilities:

• Write and maintain technical documentation for Red Hat’s internal secure release solution
• Coordinate with developers, product owners, and release managers to capture requirements and updates
• Use AsciiDoc and Git/GitHub/GitLab to write and version content
• Track work through Jira and actively participate in team planning and review sessions
• Help ensure all products follow consistent, clear documentation before passing through internal pipelines

Minimum Qualifications:

• Experience writing in AsciiDoc
• Proficiency using Jira for project management and documentation tracking
• Strong communication and collaboration skills (frequent interaction with engineers & stakeholders)
• Proficiency in Git, GitHub, and GitLab
• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and internal software tools

Desired Qualifications:

• Experience contributing documentation to upstream open-source projects
• Background documenting software supply chain workflows or internal dev platforms
• Familiarity with secure release and enterprise infrastructure environments

Location: Remote

Salary Range: The salary for this position is between $90,000 – $105,000 annually. Factors which may affect pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
