Job summary

Southwest - Carlton Staffing in Northwest Houston is seeking a QA Documentation Specialist to manage quality documentation, review MTRs and CoCs, and ensure compliance with ASTM, ASME and customer specs. This temp-to-hire role offers daytime hours and a stable schedule.

You will handle scanning, archiving, and document control tasks, while maintaining confidentiality and accuracy in records.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review documentation packages to ensure compliance with ASTM, ASME, customer specifications, and internal procedures.
• Verify accuracy and completeness of Material Test Reports (MTRs), Certificates of Conformance (CoCs), and supporting quality records.
• Submit and distribute completed documentation packages to customers via portals or email.
• Identify discrepancies, missing information, or nonconforming documentation for correction.
• Maintain confidentiality and integrity of quality records and customer documentation.
• Operate scanning and document imaging equipment to digitize and archive records.
• Organize, file, and maintain documents within the document control system.
• Ensure records are properly controlled, labeled, and stored in accordance with QMS requirements.

** Hours:** Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
** Duration:** Temp-to-Hire
** Description of Duties:**

• Prepare and review documentation packages to ensure compliance with ASTM, ASME, customer specifications, and internal procedures
• Verify accuracy and completeness of Material Test Reports (MTRs), Certificates of Conformance (CoCs), and supporting quality records
• Submit and distribute completed documentation packages to customers through designated portals or email
• Identify and flag discrepancies, missing information, or nonconforming documentation for correction
• Maintain confidentiality and integrity of quality records and customer documentation
• Operate scanning and document imaging equipment to digitize and archive records
• Organize, file, and maintain documents within the document control system
• Ensure records are properly controlled, labeled, and stored in accordance with QMS requirements

** Requirements:**

• Previous experience with quality documentation, document control, QA, or a related role preferred
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to review and organize technical documentation
