This is a Contracted position in the field of Post Production - Editing, Compositing, Motion Graphics, & Visual Effects , located in Philadelphia, PA.

We are seeking an experienced documentary editor with a strong narrative sense and a keen editorial eye. This project is an NBA focused documentary with themes centered around mental health, requiring sensitivity, structure, and strong storytelling clarity. The editor will be responsible for working from an existing assembly cut and helping reshape the narrative into a more cohesive and engaging storyline based on provided notes and direction. This includes tightening pacing, improving structure, and elevating emotional flow while maintaining the integrity of the footage. The ideal candidate is highly detail oriented, responsive to feedback, and comfortable collaborating in a fast paced production environment. Strong communication skills and the ability to execute notes efficiently and accurately are essential. Responsibilities also include organizing and helping establish a structured asset management system for new and existing footage, ensuring all materials are clearly labeled and easily accessible for ongoing post production. We are looking for someone experienced in documentary editing who can bring both technical skill and storytelling intuition to the project while working efficiently and meeting deadlines. Experience
