Job summary

Winstead PC is seeking an experienced Word Processing specialist to support document production across multiple firm offices in Houston, Dallas or Austin. The role requires strong MS Word skills, NetDocuments familiarity, and the ability to handle high-volume, fast-paced environments.

The candidate will convert and format documents, prepare PowerPoint presentations, and assist with marketing materials while maintaining quality and deadlines for attorneys.

Qualifications

• Proficient with all Microsoft Office products with advanced MS Word skills.
• Familiarity with NetDocuments or document management systems.
• Experience with graphics programs (e.g., Photoshop, Visio) is a plus.
• Capable of typing at least 80 words per minute and managing multiple deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Convert, format, and prepare Word documents and PowerPoint presentations.
• Format, cross-reference and generate tables of contents and authorities.
• Prepare and edit documents from PDFs and handwritten copies.
• Create labels, letters, and mail-merge outputs.
• Set up templates for state pleadings and discovery responses.
• Prepare and format marketing materials and proposals.
• Troubleshoot document or software issues as needed.
