Job summary

TDEC in Charleston, WV is seeking a Document Processing Technician to join our on-site team. You will analyze data imaging/indexing assignments, set production schedules, index data from multiple sources, and perform quality assurance on scanned documents.

The role involves data entry, maintaining filing systems, coordinating with computer operators and customers, and preparing reports. Prior data entry experience and familiarity with data indexing procedures are preferred.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated aptitude and intelligence in mastering the operations aspects of IS processing systems.
• Detailed knowledge of data entry machine operation, practices, and procedures.
• Ability to interact maturely with personnel at various levels.
• Work experience as a data entry operator which includes interpreting and coding items from source documents.

Responsibilities

• Analyzes data imaging/indexing assignments, determines priorities, and establishes production schedules.
• Indexes data using a variety of sources and performs quality assurance on scanned documents.
• Interacts with computer operators and customers regarding job setup, work performed and status.
• Performs data entry and correction of erroneous data from forms and input documents.
