Job description

CTG is seeking to fill a Document Custodian Vault Analyst opening for our client in Buffalo, NY.

Location: Buffalo, NY

Duration: 3 months

Pay: $18/hr

Overview:

We are looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented Document Custodian Vault Analyst to join our team. This position plays a key role in managing and safeguarding physical and electronic documents, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality. If you have strong communication skills, are comfortable working with Microsoft Office, and enjoy handling sensitive documents, this is an excellent opportunity for you.

Primary Responsibilities:

  1. Manage and safeguard physical and electronic documents in a secure vault environment.
  2. Ensure accurate labeling, storage, and retrieval of documents as needed.
  3. Monitor and track document inventories, maintaining up-to-date records.
  4. Review documents for compliance with relevant policies and standards.
  5. Assist with document organization and purging based on retention schedules.
  6. Work with other team members to ensure efficient document processing and handling.
  7. Provide support for audits and compliance checks, ensuring all necessary documentation is accessible.
  8. Maintain a high level of confidentiality when handling sensitive materials.

Scope of Responsibilities:

  1. Handle sensitive and confidential documents, adhering to security protocols.
  2. Ensure document integrity and accurate record-keeping.
  3. Collaborate with team members to maintain the vault and document storage systems.
  4. Act as a point of contact for document-related inquiries and assist with document retrieval.
  5. Maintain compliance with industry regulations related to document storage and retrieval.

Supervisory/Managerial Responsibilities:

This position does not have supervisory or managerial responsibilities.

Education and Experience Required:

  1. High school diploma or equivalent required.
  2. Experience working with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  3. Strong attention to detail and ability to manage large volumes of information.
  4. Good communication skills, both verbal and written.

Education and Experience Preferred:

  1. Experience in document management or vault environments is a plus.
  2. Knowledge of document retention policies and compliance regulations.

Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.
