Job summary

NextDecade is seeking a Technician, Document Control to support long-term documentation for the Rio Grande LNG facility near Brownsville, Texas. You will work under the Supervisor, Document Control in the Operations Engineering Department and ensure timely information flow and accuracy in the EDMS.

You will maintain controlled documents, coordinate with contractors, and support training and audits to uphold quality and compliance within the project’s documentation workflow.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED or equivalent.
• 3+ years of experience with document control or equivalent role.
• Experience administering and using an Electronic Document Management System (EDMS).
• Ability to obtain Transportation Worker Identification Credentials (TWIC).
• Experience managing both electronic and physical document transmittal and distribution.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to procedures to manage all plant documentation.
• Interface with intercompany departments to provide timely information and technical support for EDMS.
• Manage all controlled documentation generated by company and contractors in EDMS.
• Coordinate transmittal of information between company and contractor.
• Ensure documents have complete attributes and metadata and are legible.
