Job summary

Solventum is seeking a Documents and Customer Service Support professional to join our on-site team in San Antonio, TX. The role focuses on handling RMAs, warranty reviews, quoting repairs, and ensuring accurate billing while supporting daily operations and continuous improvement initiatives.

The ideal candidate will have a High School Diploma or GED with at least 2 years in manufacturing or customer service, with strong communication and team collaboration skills.

  • Two years combined experience in manufacturing or customer service environment.

Responsibilities

  • Generate RMAs for customer-owned devices as requested.
  • Review warranty entitlements for customer-owned VAC equipment.
  • Share repair quotes and procure authorization for repairs.
  • Process Oracle orders and ensure accurate billing.
  • File service reports, checklists and work orders.
  • Support improvement projects and manufacturing relabeling tasks.
  • Print serial number labels and distribute per process.
  • Join daily site leadership meetings and communicate updates.
  • Maintain a clean, orderly workspace.

The Impact You'll Make in this Role
  • Perform generation of RMAs when requested for customer owned devices.
  • Perform review of customer owned medical VAC equipment warranty entitlements.
  • Share customer repair medical VAC equipment quote and procure authorization for repairs.
  • Provide feedback to customers queries regarding repair status & shipping.
  • Process Oracle orders and adjust for accurate billing.
  • Perform accurate filing of service report, checklist/work order documents.
  • Support projects as necessary to support product rework, relabeling, manufacturing kitting, tasks for external department Solventum teams.
  • Print medical VAC equipment serial number labels as requested by medical VAC equipment technician and distribute per approved process.
  • Successfully demonstrate and support Solventum values, code of conduct & compliance.
  • Successfully demonstrate and support a positive safety environment.
  • Ability to clearly demonstrate communication and team engagement skills.
  • Demonstrate a clean and orderly workspace.
  • Participate in daily meetings with site leadership.
  • Notify supervisory personnel of any medical VAC equipment repair difficulties and/or other opportunity challenges.
  • Execute small projects for continuous improvement.
  • generate new serial numbers, generate work orders, book and complete work order jobs.
Your Skills and Expertise
  • High School Diploma/GED and two (2) years of combined experience in manufacturing, customer service environment in a private, public, government or military environment

  • Strong leadership, communication, interpersonal, and self-motivational skills
Location and Work Authorization

Work location: San Antonio, TX (on-site)

Applicable to US Applicants Only: The expected compensation range for this position is $39,360 - $54,120, which includes base pay plus variable incentive pay, if eligible. This range represents a good faith estimate for this position. The specific compensation offered to a candidate may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, the candidate's relevant knowledge, training, skills, work location, and/or experience.
