A. Duie Pyle, Inc. is seeking a full-time Inbound Dockworker in Baltimore, MD. The role involves safely loading and unloading freight, operating forklift equipment, and verifying documentation. Prior forklift and warehousing experience are preferred.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Load and unload freight on trailers using forklift or pallet jack.
• Pick, stage, and secure freight inside trailers for safe transport.
• Use document management system to track shipment locations in the terminal.
• Communicate with terminal personnel and drivers.
• Maintain a flexible schedule including day, night, weekends, and holidays.
• Operate with a customer-service mindset.

Job description

A. Duie Pyle is seeking a full-time Inbound Dockworker to join our team in Baltimore, MD. This role is responsible for safely transporting freight on and off trailers, and verifying related documentation via the electronic and manual systems. Prior forklift experience is preferred.

• Earn $23.55 per hour + $0.70 shift differential. Rate will increase to $29.05 after 12 months of employment

Dockworker responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Loading and unloading freight on trailers using appropriate equipment – forklift or electric pallet jack
• Picking, staging, and securing freight inside trailers to insure safe transport
• Utilizing document management system to track and monitor freight shipment locations throughout the terminal
• Communicating with terminal personnel and drivers
• Maintain a flexible schedule, including but not limited to day and night shifts, weekends and or holiday work
• Operating with a customer service first mentality
