• Understanding marina documents such as agreements, contracts, terms and conditions, and marina regulations.

Responsibilities

• Sets and provides the highest level of customer/guest services and expedites any and all requests from vessels
• Schedules and manages all dockhands in marina related duties such as securing boats, fuel, black water pump outs, connecting and monitoring utility services, and waste disposal
• Performs daily inspection of the docks and coordinates with maintenance for repairs to maintain safety and cleanliness
• Routinely operates motor and water vehicles and other mechanized equipment

POSITIONPURPOSE:

TheDockmasterisoftenthefirstpersonourcustomerswillinteractwithwhenarrivingbyvessel.TheDockmasterisa strongand motivatingleaderresponsiblefortheoveralloperationofthedocks.Thisincludesschedulingofdockhands,communicationwith vessel captains, reservations, maintainingoverall safety and cleanlinessofthemarina, fueloperations, providing thehighestlevel ofguestservices,concierge,trainingofnewteammembers,andsecuringthemarinaandvesselsintheeventofinclement weather.

DUTIESAND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Routinelyoperates,motorandwatervehiclesandothervariousmechanized equipment

EDUCATIONAND EXPERIENCE:

• A broad knowledge of marina operations, boat lifting, boat handling and towing, and equipment maintenance
• Ability to manage and motivate staff
• A positive attitude, the ability to communicate proficiently, and ability to relate to customers in a luxury environment
• Understandingofcommonmarinaoperationaldocumentationsuchasagreements,contracts,termsandconditions, marina regulations and must be able to analyze them
