Job Title: Dock Worker / Forklift Operator, Part-time

Job Description: Dock Workers are responsible for loading and unloading trailers to transport various cargo, moving cargo, operating forklifts, pallet jacks, or other freight handling equipment, and efficiently using mobile technology to complete all required paperwork.

Responsibilities:

• Load and unload trailers for transporting a wide variety of cargo.
• Operate mobile technology effectively.
• Complete all required paperwork accurately.
• Prepare freight for transit.
• Move cargo using forklifts, pallet jacks, or other equipment.
• Participate in preventive maintenance programs for all ABF equipment.
• Note: Duties and schedules may vary depending on the terminal location.

Requirements:

• This is a casual position; candidates must be willing to work evenings, weekends, and on an as-needed basis.
• Minimum age: 18 years.
• Stable work history and good safety record.
• Ability to pass pre-employment drug screening and physical examination.
• Shift hours vary by location, including days, nights, and weekends; ability to work the required hours is a minimum requirement.

Additional Details:

• Schedule may vary by Service Center location.
• This is an hourly position paid weekly.
