Job Description

Dock Workers are responsible for loading and unloading trailers to transport a wide variety of cargo, moving cargo, driving a forklift, or using a pallet jack or other freight handling equipment. They must operate mobile technology effectively and complete all required paperwork.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload trailers for transporting diverse cargo.
• Operate mobile technology efficiently.
• Complete all required paperwork accurately.
• Prepare freight for transit.
• Move cargo, operate forklifts, pallet jacks, or other freight handling equipment.
• Participate in equipment preventive maintenance programs.
• Note: Duties and schedules may vary by terminal location.

Requirements

• This is a casual position; willingness to work evenings, weekends, and as needed is required.
• Minimum age of 18 years.
• Stable work history and good safety record.
• Ability to pass pre-employment drug screening and physical exam.
• Shift hours vary by location and may include days, nights, and weekends; ability to work required hours is essential.
