Job summary

Tri Gas & Oil is hiring to maintain optimal propane inventory and support field operations. The role involves receiving, evacuating, and evaluating tanks, dispensing propane, and ensuring cylinders meet ASME and DOT standards.

You will repair, coat, recertify, and organize tanks, while coordinating with vendors for outside certification. Outdoors work in various weather conditions is expected; forklift operation and safety adherence are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience operating a forklift.
• Gas fitter license preferred or obtainable.
• CDL license preferred.
• Safety-focused attitude and adherence to safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Receiving propane tanks from districts and wholesalers.
• Evacuating and evaluating tanks as needed.
• Dispensing propane and filling tanks for placement and sale.
• Reconditioning, repairing, coating, and organizing ASME and DOT cylinders and tanks.
• Recertifying 20 lb. tanks including inspection, painting, and valve replacement.
• Painting and replacing valves in ASME tanks.
• Using forklift and other machinery to unload trucks and trailers.
• Coordinating with vendors for outside recertification.
• Providing customer service and dispensing information.
