Job summary

Trident Seafoods is seeking a Dock Operations Technician II to join the Dock Operations team. This role will moor vessels to the dock, load, unload, and transport materials on and off vessels and/or from dock to storage, while maintaining dock functionality.

The position requires forklift/skiff/dock operation experience, a valid driver’s license, and flexibility to work outdoors in varying weather. Full-time with comprehensive benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Must have forklift, skiff and dock operation experience.
• Valid state-issued driver’s license is required.
• Ability to become forklift certified within 30 days of employment.
• Ability to become basic boating safety course certified within 120 days of employment.

Responsibilities

• Move product and materials to storage/production areas using manual handling or equipment.
• Connect/disconnect vessels to docks and shore power.
• Deploy/retract and inspect oil boom around vessels/docks.
• Load/unload cargo and inspect containers prior to loading.
• Train team members on dock, skiff, and forklift operations.
• Maintain cleanliness and organize waste receptacles daily.
