Job summary

Comstock seeks a Security Dock Master in Reston, VA to manage loading dock schedules, coordinate truck arrivals and moves, protect doors and floors, and ensure safe, efficient deliveries.

You will supervise on-site movers, enforce licensing and safety standards, provide daily inspections and reports, and collaborate with property management to uphold corporate values and exceptional guest experiences.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• Minimum 1 year of security or Dock Master experience.
• Must be a certified security officer in Washington DC, Virginia, or Maryland.
• Minimum 1 year experience in customer service.
• Valid driver's license without major violations.
• Flexibility to work after hours and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the arrival and departure of moving trucks.
• Schedule and monitor on-site movers for moves in/out.
• Protect doors and floors during deliveries and moves.
• Coordinate pickups and removal of bulk material items from loading dock.
• Report incidents to the property manager and provide inspection reports.
• Manage vendor cleaning schedules and assist with other tasks.
